Sofía centers her practice on the representation of the human body as a territory of emotional and symbolic tension. Through oil, charcoal, and graphite, she develops a visual language that moves between technical precision and the visceral exploration of the figure.

Her work engages with desire, loss, intimacy, and transformation, understanding the body not as an object of contemplation, but as a space of memory and experience. Between construction and dissolution, her pieces oscillate between presence and absence, inviting the viewer to complete the image through their own sensibility.

Within a contemporary figurative practice, García reclaims the power of the body as a language capable of conveying the human condition in its rawest state.
